LA PORTE CITY – The Union Knights volleyball team ended their season in the Class 3A Region 3 Championship match. They ended the season with a strong 37-12 record, playing in the toughest conference in the state. The season included several tournament championships as well as an NICL East Conference Championship.

THANK YOU to senior Avery Knoop for all of her contributions this season and throughout her high school career. Knoop collected a jaw-dropping 3,800+ career assists for the Knights! The Knights will definitely miss her, but bring back a young team looking to take the next step forward including sophomore Bianca Grimm who led the Knights with 369 kills, followed by freshman Caitlyn Schneider and sophomores Taylen Smith and Abbie Estling. Juniors Reagan Glenn, Addie Pospisil, and Emily Anton look to return and lead the team next season.
