LA PORTE CITY – The Union Knights cross country team wrapped up their season the weekend of Nov. 2, with multiple runners competing at the state meet in Fort Dodge. The Knights qualified three runners for state including Amilia Condon (senior) on the girls side. Sawyer Spence (junior) and Cooper Davis (sophomore) competed at state on the boys side. The girls team finished 7th in the NICL and 7th at districts. The boys team finished 8th in the NICL and 8th at districts.

The Knights graduate several seniors including Kate Carlson, Amilia Condon, Lily Lorenzen, Ruby Parson, and Kengo Uchiyama-Hansen. THANK YOU seniors for all of your contributions to the cross country program over the past several years!

Spence will return as a senior leader on the boys team while Addie Tudor, Brynn Albertsen, and Lorelei Hinebaugh look to return as senior leaders on the girls team. Both teams are looking to grow participation and take a step forward with increased team success next season!
