Dear Editor,

Iowa House Representative Dean Fisher was a vocal supporter of private school vouchers. However, he will use the taxpayer voucher money to establish and run his private school after passing the law. In other words, I believe he utilized his elected position to enrich himself.

*He campaigned on private school vouchers in 2022

*He voted for them in 2023

*Now he wants to cash in on them

Rep. Fisher shouldn’t use an estimated $900,000 – $1.2 million of public dollars yearly to run his private school – Tama Toledo Christian School.
