Tama County Tourism offering free seminar April 24

Tama County Tourism is excited to offer local businesses and organizations a FREE opportunity to: add value to your business through superior customer service, help employees learn to be ambassadors for your community, and cater to the desires of the modern consumer. Iowa State University Extension specialists will present a two-hour interactive workshop which shares targeted strategies for community tourism leaders, businesses, and attractions.

The workshop is geared toward:

– Front-line employees who interact with visitors

– Community tourism leaders

– Tourism volunteers

– Managers of retail shops, restaurants, attractions, hotels, gas stations, and convenience stores

It will be held at the Traer Public Library, 531 – 2nd Street, Traer, on Monday April 24, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A meal will be provided, and door prizes will be awarded, thanks to the support of numerous businesses in Tama County.
