Linda Sue Whitmore was born on July 7, 1951, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Maurine (Small) Forsythe. She went to Dysart High School and graduated in 1969. Linda also went to the College of Hair Design in Waterloo. She married Max Morrison on December 27, 1969. On February 18, 1984, she married Ed Whitmore. They made their home north of Geneseo and attended Geneseo United Methodist Church. Linda owned the Klassic Klipper beauty shop in Traer and retired on January 1, 2010. She also babysat her grandchildren, and loved it. Linda died at the age of 66 on September 12, 2017, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed; her previous husband, Max; a brother, Robert “Okie” Forsythe; and a brother-in-law, Randy Pipal. Linda is survived by three sons, Brian Morrison of Traer, Mike (Shellie) Morrison of Traer, and Nick (Kris) Whitmore of Traer; a sister, Donna Pipal of Badger; and eight grandchildren, Katie Morrison, Scott Morrison, Tyler Morrison, Chase Morrison, Larissa Morrison, Jessica Morrison, Trent Whitmore, and Brynn Whitmore.
