Elmer D. Bradley, 81 formerly from Traer passed away on November 14, 2014 at the Florence Home in Omaha, NE from Lewy Body Dementia. Elmer attended Traer (North Tama) schools where he was the 1951 Iowa State 155 pound wrestling champion. He served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Joseph P. Kennedy. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy (Kriz) Bradley, parents Kenneth and Edna Bradley, Sisters Carolyn Vokoun and Bernice Martin, Brothers Leland and Delbert Bradley. He leaves behind his sister Dixie Martin of Cedar Rapids, IA, Son Kenny (Kimberly) Bradley of Des Moines, IA, and Daughter Tracy (Tammy) Bradley Shirk of Nashville, Ne. 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
Services will be held December 6, 2014 at the Methodist church in Traer at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow in the church Basement.
