The Parsonage announces 2025 concert series

TRAER – The Parsonage at Ripley in Traer is again set to host monthly open mics from May through November with featured performances from local and regional artists.

In the wake of a highly successful 2024 season, the venue is expanding to seven events for 2025. Poets, musicians and other performers are welcome and wanted. Following the open mic which begins at 6:30 p.m., each evening will include a featured performer.

The Parsonage 2025 lineup

Featured performers this season include:

-May 14: Charles Michaels, III, vintage radio hits from the ’50s-’70s

-June 25: Katie Sires of Katie and the Honky Tonks

-July 9: Uncle Chuck, legendary Cedar Valley songwriter

-August 13: Birdy Young, 2024 Iowa Music Award nominee

-September 10: Robert Maharry of Catfish Murphy

-October 8: Madison Kolbet, original country music

-November 12: Robert Yeltman, Iowa songwriter with west coast vibes

Guitar accompaniment will be provided for those who just want to sing. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided for all.

The Parsonage is located at 513 Fourth Street in Traer.
