DYSART -Dysart’s Christmas on Main – the Dysart Development Corporations’ annual kickoff to the holiday season – was held on Saturday, Dec. 7, and, according to event organizers, was another huge success. While Santa and Mrs. Claus were in attendance at the community building mostly to visit with the town’s youngest residents, Tama County Sheriff-elect Casey Schmidt — a Dysart resident — also took a turn on Santa’s lap. “I did make the nice list,” Schmidt joked with the newspaper following the morning’s events.
