TOLEDO – As the sun floated over the horizon and the clouds parted on Monday, Oct. 21, the usual gang of folks gathered for the weekly Tama County Board of Supervisors meeting. Like every week, Tama County Engineer Ben Daleske gave his report, kicking off the meeting. The Engineer said that work is still being done on 215th west of Union Grove Lake, as well as on B Avenue. Shoulder work will be done, and the bridge crew is still working on LL. A bridge contract for S Avenue was approved, as was a utility permit.

The Auditor’s Quarterly report was approved.

The supervisors also approved advertising for the one-year lease of some county cropland.

Claims totaling $496,490.70 were approved.
