TRAER – The ‘202FORE’ Winding Stairs Festival grand parade took to Traer’s streets last Saturday, Aug. 10. Members of the public from both near and far packed the streets along the parade route as in years past in celebration. This year’s festival theme was ‘Let’s PAR-TEE in Traer!’ in reference to the town’s treasured golf course, Traer Golf Club, which commemorated its 100th anniversary in 2023.

On Facebook following the conclusion of this year’s festival, organizers wrote, “What a weekend!! Thank you to everyone who came out to the 202FORE Winding Stairs Festival this year. We hope you had an opportunity to find something you enjoyed. Untill [sic] next year!”
