DYSART – The Vision Dysart Committee is inviting everyone to an evening of fun and music at Dysart’s new Main Street Pocket Park on August 31 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The popular Buck Hollow Band from Decorah will be playing during the evening with time out at 7 p.m. for a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The covered park contains four colorful conventional table and chair sets and two bistro sets. The wood side panels feature large photos of scenes from early Dysart, and large cement planters with green plants complete the park area.
The Pocket Park is a project of the Vision Dysart Committee which is sponsored by the DDC. The park was made possible through grants and generous contributions, a list of which is also included on a side panel.
Free popcorn and lemonade for everyone will be available during the evening. Plan to come, bring your lawn chair, and join the fun! In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Community Building.
