TRAER – Joan Reuman’s handmade commemorative quilt stitched in honor of Traer’s 150th birthday celebration (pictured) will be raffled off during the Winding Stairs Festival this weekend. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased on Friday, Aug. 11 from 5 p.m-8 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 1 p.m-7 p.m. at the Sesquicentennial Committee’s merchandise tent which will be located on the corner of Walnut and Second streets. Tickets are also available for purchase at Reuman’s Clothing in downtown Traer or from members of the Traer Lions Club. Proceeds from this beautiful quilt are earmarked for future repairs and upkeep of the Winding Stairs.
