TRAER – A few days shy of graduation, North Tama volleyball star Shae Ewoldt signed a letter of intent to play for Wartburg College next season, a Division III school. With the support of her family, friends, and coaches, she committed on Thursday, May 18 in the Redhawks nest to officially becoming a Wartburg Knight – North Tama volleyball head coach Channing Halstead’s alma mater. Ewoldt played outside hitter for the Redhawks. She was selected for All-Conference First Team during the 2022-23 season, as well as the Class 1A All-State Second Team. In addition to playing college volleyball, Ewoldt plans to major in exercise science while at Wartburg.
