TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will present “Living with a Live Owl” on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St, Toledo.

Licensed falconer Brenda Smith will introduce you to Athena, her two-year-old great horned owl. Smith will begin training Athena to hunt this fall. Come learn what goes into training, as well as what it takes to keep a live owl happy and healthy.

This event is free and open to the public.
