Schmitt family recommends Redhawks consider becoming Kohawks
North Tama Dollars for Scholars portal to close March 1

Dollars for Scholars, North Tama
TRAER – Members of the Schmitt family are recommending the current crop of senior Redhawks take a serious look at Coe College in Cedar Rapids in light of the new, renewable Herink Family/North Tama Dollars for Scholars Scholarship.
Kylee (Schmitt) Pusteoska
“Going to a small liberal arts college allowed me to be involved in a wide variety of activities including volleyball, band, writing center and so much more. My professors knew me on a personal level and I can still reach out to them for anything I might need. Coe’s location in Cedar Rapids also makes it super easy for any type of internship and while campus feels cozy, you are surrounded by a vibrant city.”
Ann and Dan Schmitt (parents to Kylee)
“Coe College played a big part in our lives. Dan played football and wrestled there, while Ann spent three years on campus and one year studying abroad in Denmark. We both loved the small classes and close relationships we made. We recommend Coe to anyone who will listen.”
Dan Schmitt, Class of 1975, built a record of athletic and academic achievements at Coe that has rarely been equaled. He was inducted into the Kohawk Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986. Learn more here: https://kohawkathletics.com/honors/hall-of-fame/dan-schmitt/141.
