Iowa’s Largest and Tallest Trees program set for Sept. 11
TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will present “Iowa’s Largest and Tallest Trees” on Wednesday, Sept. 11, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St, Toledo.
Join big tree hunter Mark Rouw has been searching for the biggest trees in Iowa for nearly 50 years. In his presentation, Rouw will be showing photos of some of Iowa’s biggest trees, and sharing some interesting stories associated with these exceptional trees.
