Denglers celebrate 70th anniversary
Vernon and Mildred (Wilken) Dengler will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on February 16.
They were married February 16, 1947 at the First Evangelical Church in Waterloo, Iowa.
They farmed all their married life near Dysart and have two children: Marsha Dengler of Waterloo, Iowa; and Mark & Sandy Dengler of Dysart, Iowa.
They have 3 grandchildren: Rachel & Drew McLaughlin of St. Paul, Minnesota; Derrick & Hannah Dengler of Montezuma, Iowa; and Sean Dengler & Kim Hale of West Des Moines, Iowa.
They also have one great-grandson: Hayes Vernon Dengler, son of Derrick & Hannah Dengler.
