Dostal promoted to Colonel in U.S. Army

Brad Dostal of Washington, D.C. was promoted to Colonel in the U.S. Army on Friday, August 3, 2012 in a special ceremony at the Clutier American Legion Hall.

BG (Ret.) Dan McGowan, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Iowa was the presiding offical.

Pinning of Rank was done by his family, Angie, Brennan & Arianne. Remarks then followed by Colonel Brad Dostal. A reception followed the ceremony attended by family and friends.

Brad’s family are his wife, Angie, and children Jace, Kaden, Brennan and Arianne. He is formerly from Clutier and 1986 graduate of North Tama High School and Iowa State University, Ames. He is the son of Marvin and Camilla Dostal.
